Welcome to the Philippine Pageant Tribune Bb. Pilipinas Page

The annual Binibining Pilipinas Pageant is, without a doubt, the most prestigious pageant in the Philippines having acquired franchises to three of the most prestigious pageants in the world.
First and foremost a charitable organization run by the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. founded by its chair, Mdme. Stella Marquez de Araneta (Miss International 1960), the Bb. Pilipinas Pageant not only opened doors of opportunities to its candidates and winners, but also give hope to the less fortunate Filipinos through their many charitable undertakings.
Bb. Pilipinas have produced 2 Miss Universe Winners:
  • Gloria Diaz, 1969
  • Margarita Moran, 1973

It also has given the country 3 of its 5 Miss International Winners:

  • Aurora Pijuan, 1970
  • Melanie Marquez, 1979
  • Precious Lara Quigaman, 2005

Apart from the title holders mentioned above, the national pageant has given us a slew of runners-up, finalists, semifinalists, and special award winners that to this day are continuing to make the country proud.

This page is devoted to everything that is Binibining Pilipinas--from news updates, to trivial; from pageant coverage to pageant reviews.
